BIMcollab and Schüßler-Plan Digital announce integration for enhanced BIM processes

BIMcollab, the industry leader in driving BIM collaboration, and Schüßler-Plan Digital, a prominent partner in digitalization solutions, proudly announce their integration to streamline BIM processes.

By facilitating an integration with BIMcollab, Schüßler-Plan Digital, recognized for their expertise in optimizing data and processes, will enhance information management and project delivery using their SPBIM4DESITE platform.

The integration establishes a direct link from the collaboration software Desite BIM md to the BIMcollab Space for efficient issue management using BCF (BIM Collaboration Format). Additionally, IDS (Information Delivery Specification) can be utilized for model validation.

“The connectivity of environments is a necessity in the era of cloud-based solutions. We need to move beyond the ‘copy and paste’ mentality.

– Dr. Andreas Bach, CEO of Schüßler-Plan Digital

“Integrating BIMcollab into our solution SPBIM4DESITE was a natural progression for us. Now, cumbersome uploads and downloads between platforms are a thing of the past. We are more connected and can work together more easily in issue management between BIM modelling, BIM coordination and BIM management.”

“At BIMcollab, we are dedicated to empowering users throughout the lifecycle of buildings or infrastructure,” says Erik Pijnenburg, CEO of BIMcollab. “Partnering with Schüßler-Plan Digital aligns perfectly with our goal to facilitate seamless collaboration in BIM projects.”

The integration will become available in April, with further details provided on the SPBIM4DESITE website.
