Introducing one BIMcollab platform for connected BIM workflows

Every BIM decision depends on having the right information in the right place at the right time. But for many teams, that information is still spread across separate tools, documents, models, issues, and workflows.

BIMcollab is changing that.

Our Model Quality Assurance and Common Data Environment solutions are coming together in one unified platform, continuing under one name: BIMcollab

The new unified BIMcollab platform coordinates the information behind every design decision, helping teams navigate every BIM phase with more clarity, control, and confidence. Instead of managing coordination, document control, model review, approvals, and issue management in disconnected environments, teams can now work from one connected context.

What does this mean?

That means models, documents, issues, data, and teams are directly linked. Project information is easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to act on. Teams switch between systems less often, keep better traceability, and stay in control of quality, workflows, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.

The result is a more connected BIM workflow, where teams can make better decisions faster and deliver trusted information for the next phase.

More connected than ever before

We are also strengthening the way BIMcollab connects with the tools teams already use. With the new Autodesk Forma Connection, users can integrate BIMcollab directly into their Autodesk environment, making collaboration across platforms smoother for teams working within the Autodesk ecosystem.

In addition, BIMcollab is expanding model-based collaboration with support for Revit models in the Model WebViewer and BIMcollab Zoom. Teams can now view, inspect, and use Revit files directly in the platform, alongside IFC models, including for model-based data extraction.

Together, these developments mark an important step toward one central platform for connected BIM collaboration: connecting the context, controlling the process, and delivering trusted information across every phase.
