Where we keep your data
Our servers are located in the data center of Interconnect (www.interconnect.nl) with colocation in the cities Eindhoven and ’s-Hertogenbosch, both in the south of the Netherlands (Tier 3++) with 99,9% uptime guaranteed. With Interconnect we not only offer abundant hardware, but also a financially healthy hosting partner. Even after a bankruptcy there will be a 6 month continuation of the services.
Data Center
BIMcollab Cloud runs on dedicated ultramodern servers in energy efficient data centers. We optimize the number of users per server to minimize access-time. Our goal is that you never have to wait for your data, whatever the size of your project.
Energy efficient
The efficient use of energy with direct and dynamic free cooling (with the ‘Cold Corridor’ principle), makes the data center we use one of the most energy efficient data centers in the Netherlands.
Security
ISO27001
ISO 27001 is the best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and their requirements. This standard ensures that we continuously keep assessing and improving our security.
ISAE 3000 / SOC Type 2 / ISO9001 and ISO14001
Interconnect is certificated on ISO9001, ISO14001, ISAE 3000, and SOC 2 type 2 reporting. They offer a very high standard of network infrastructure and energy efficient powering. This ensures an independent judgment about the quality principles: ‘security’ and ‘availability’ of the data center and cloud services.
PCI-DSS
We are PCI-DSS certified (‘Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard’). This demands high standards for the security of credit card data. It includes physical and information security policies.

BIMcollab on-premise version
BIMcollab on-premise: full control of data security
The on-premise version is a special version of BIMcollab Cloud that we can install on one of your servers (with your help). It allows you to have full control of data security, but also up-time and back-ups. While the cloud-based version is very cost-efficient since we take care of all that.
When do you choose the BIMcollab on-premise version?
Although our data center and data security complies to the highest standards, it might be needed for some projects that the data is hosted in a specific country or on privately owned servers. In that case the on-premise version offers a good solution.
